The FOREVER WILD PORTFOLIO was started to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the NYS Constitutional amendment that set aside, for the first time in this country, lands to be held in trust for future generations. This clause, known as "Forever Wild," established the Catskill and Adirondack Preserves and predates the establishment of the US National Parks system.

We have included Hudson River images in this portfolio, as we feel that, although, technically outside the Blue Line - the preserves' boundaries - the River has had a profound effect upon American art, literature and philosophy. Its beauty was a driving force behind those who helped to create this magnificent gift.

For most of our lives, we have lived nearby or in sight of this majestic River and it has played a significant role in shaping our work/involvement with the environment.
