We're New York artists currently living and growing on the West coast. Both Northern and Southern California provide many opportunities to experience new venues as well as transmedia and technological developments. OUR COLLABORATIVE MONIKER - CoLabART - is an entity birthed during our first residency fellowships at Yaddo, a seamless marriage of two working artists. Together we have fused our different disciplines — painting and photographic processes — with a ever widening variety of new and constantly evolving digital media into what is now almost a 40 year collaboration. We returned to Yaddo (Fall, 2003) for additional Fellowships to celebrate CoLabART's 25th anniversary. With the moniker CoLabART we also collaborate in our transmedia installation works with other creative individuals from around the world as well as those that have preceded us.
